hi there , anyone got any ideas,,, the interior blowers in my 156 suddenly stopped working this morning, but tonight on the way home started again , where is the fuse situated, also is there a relay for said blowers? cheers.

I had the same, intermittent problem on mine, before it stopped working completely...just in time for the onset of the winter! I actually sold the car before fixing it properly. The problem is more that likely going to be this little unit...


It is tucked up near the fan under the glove box, screwed to the firewall. Some people may freak out at the suggestion but, you could unplug the 2 big leads from the unit and short them. If the fan fires up, then you can eliminate a few things.

Fuse is the same as for the alarm, stereo, outside temp etc on my 99 156 2.5 V6 - 10A, bottom row one in from left I think - owner manual has a table.

Had to disable my alarm the other day as key remote decided to die when I was away for the weekend - driving 120 miles on the motorway with hazards going didn't seem like a good way to get home. Drive back was hot and, whilst I love the engine note, couldnt get the radio to listen to the footie!

IF you're thinking of pulling that fuse, make sure youve got the radio code !
