couple of Questions
Hi all, not long joined the forum, and in need of a bit of help.
2 Questions :
Basically, I bought a 99 156 last week. I then bought a leather interior to put into it, from a 2003 model.
When putting it in, I noticed that there were 2 airbag connectors under the front seats, one under each seat. Now my original seats had only one connector, under the passenger seat, but it does not fit the new connector under the passenger leather seat.
Would it be possible to just run a 'bridging' wire from the drivers seat, to under the passenger seat, to make the connection ?
The new leather seats have side airbags, whereas my old seats didn't. I assume that this is what the 2nd connector is.
My sidelights are always on.
As soon as I start the car, the sidelights warning light is lit. Turning the headlight stalk makes no diffrence, until I get to dipped lights.
I am assuming that there has been a wiring problem at some stage, but just wondered if anyone eles had had a similar problem ??
Any help is much appreciated.
