Refitting 156 sidelight bulb

Help!! I've managed to change the sidelight bulb in my 156 (20 minutes and a sore hand), but having pushed the holder back through the hole into the headlight I can't get it to tighten. It just wiggles around and won't tighten or sit firmly. I've tried everything, any tips?

Re: Refitting 156 sidelight bulb

It is only a push fit in the hole, it doesn't lock in.

It will be fine.

Re: Refitting 156 sidelight bulb

Thanks, I'll leave it alone then seeing as I've managed to get the back cover back on. Was just a bit worried that with it so loose it will fall out, but it seems to have stayed in position after a 30 mile journey so I'll leave well alone.
