airbag light

Hi I got a 156 2.5 v6 its a lovely car and i love it so much, i got the airbag light on, i was doing something in the right seat and then it goes on, i check the connectors and one was wrong so i fix it, but the light still on, is there some method to turn it off that doesnt mean to go to the dealer?

Thanks a lot

Re: airbag light

Looks like you need a plug in diagnostic re-set for clearing the warning light?:

Re: airbag light

Oh the rubbish wiring underneath the seats leading to airbag warning lights. You've triggered the air bag ECU and it needs resetting as said above. Airbags are disabled if the light is on, so a safety concern to be realised. Dealer job with appropriate diag equipment or do a search if you are interested in buying leads and software.
