156 Suspension Fork
I am going to attempt to replace my shock absorbers + springs next week. I have brought a full set of KONI adjustables from Ebay for £405 all in!
However, I can't quite understand the suspension fork, which clamps around the strut. I know this is going to be a pig to remove (has anyone got the bolt size/thread or even part number for this?!), but surely when the strut is put back in, you will have to get both new struts EXACTLY lined up where the old ones were, otherwise the front suspension will be at an angle?!
I.e. - If you bolt the struts in the clamps at different heights, then the car will sit at a really stupid angle?
Does anyone understand what I mean? Perhaps I need a little more time to look at the front suspension!
