Really, for me to sit in my office while a little chap in a van comes round and takes my wheel off and fits a tyre and balances it on site? I did go on a few tyre sites and the one I went on was the cheapest at £95 considering when I bought the tyres alone last year the cheapest I could find them was at about £87 a piece on roachfordtyres I think for someone to come to me and fit them at my convenience for a few quid more is a bargain.
I agree that mobile fitting is alot more convenient, but I do think you've overpaid. If you go to E-Tyres.co.uk, they'll do all that and more for a whole lot less. You can also twist their arm to price match competitors such as MyTyres.co.uk etc and although they won't pricematch exactly, they will meet you half way. I paid £285 for 4 x T1Rs 205/55/16s including fitting, balancing, disposal etc. Incidentally, E-Tyres using local mobile fitters and only make about £20-£30 on the entire deal. If you get the number of the company that comes round to fit them, you can phone them direct next time and save £20-£30. I think E-Tyres also provide puncture repairs for the life of the tyre.
