JTS versus Twin Spark

Just wondering what your thoughts are regarding how the two engines and/or cars compare?

Re: JTS versus Twin Spark

Having driven both and owned a JTS, I'd heartily recommend the JTS. More power and torque, more economical, cheaper to service (less plugs) sounds great (not quite as great as the twinny though) and produces less pollution

Belts are just the same (3years / 36k miles) and they use oil.

Great engine though and well suited to the 156

Re: JTS versus Twin Spark

Both good engines. Don't get an early JTS though, make sure its an early 2004 or newer.

If your going to get a T.S, make sure its the 2.0 litre Euro II with 155bhp, registered before March 1 2001 to get cheap tax.

Both good engines though, and very similar. T.S. has less grunt low down but the power doesn't drop off quite so quick after the engine has reached peak power just past 6K rpm.
