Re: Dual, Mass, Flywheel, Judder
My car still lies in the rear yard or A/Clark's and they seem reluctant to drop the box again as I will not pay for it .(according to a service official and not the service manager, I know I should wait till he returns from hols)
Their arguement being that as far as we are concerned they were instructed to replace the clutch and flywheel, this is correct but as far as the problem of judder, one of the reasons for replacement, its still there , so having spoken to a service official he is not authorized to look at this further.
Iam wating for the service manager to return next week, so am I right to persue my claim that the job has not been carried out properly and would you accept the car if its still got a judder.
My suggestion to the manager was that the clutch sleeve is dodgy, and of course they say this was checked, my theory is they are not aware of this sleeve roughness by way of them saying that they have not come accross it before, so not a problem to them. I know for a fact that this has been a problem on other jtd's including Fiats and been cured by replacing said item.
My question to anybody that can help is , how do I stand? I will still pay for the sleeve but not the labour, and they should honour this?
