Re: 156 Wind deflector fitting?
I have these on my sw 156, genuine Alfa, you did well for the price, mine cost about £40 for the front doors.
OK fitting is very easy, first you should have two plastic clips that have channels on opposite sides, these clips are about 50mm long.
The idea is that you slide the front ends of the deflectors into the window slide groove, (that is the same channel that the actual window runs in, dont worry there is plenty of room) and the same all the way along the flat lip around the edge.
That is from the front along the top to the back of the door frame, remember the flat edge sits inside the channel, then the plastic clip is slid upwards in the rear channel, as I said this clip is double grooved one groove runs in the channel and the other (when you slide it upwards between the deflector and the channel it will lock the deflector in place.
Now this at first looks flimsey, but I have had mine on since 2001 and
they have never flown off .
They do stop the bloody water from running off the roof and soaking your window switches when you turn left.
