OK, I'm intrigued by this breather hose, this used to be a problem on Ford engines too, your new intermittent judder is interesting too.
Now We still haven't got the new MAF in right?
And the Airbox is still hanging by a thread?
Never done a leak test on the intake manifold?
Changed the Throttle Position Sensor?
Changed the Lamda?
Changed the rear wiper blade? (scraping barrel now)
OK here's a simple litle one, change the fuel filter and get the fuel pressure tested, someone mentioned something earlier that has been playing on my mind about the fuel. Real long shot, but the fuel rail relief valve could be stuck open on one of them.
You coil pack idea is still an option or a lead/plug is dieing. Your right about the symptoms being similar.
Sorry if this post sounds all over the place but Iam stabing in the dark here, and being at the opposite end of the Island doesn't help, this is the type of diag stuff I enjoy and really need to be with the car for. I am reading endless tech notes to figure this one out and finding out some things that I hadn't seen before.
So far I have been assured that I have a new lambda and MAF.
When removing the MAF the problem still there so Probably not MAF.
Closet thing I have done to a leak test is sprayed my induction with Carb whilst running see if I get an engine note change hinting the carb getting sucked in, nothing.
Had my filter boxed tapped up for now, untill I get proper induction kit i.e. BMC CDA. However unplugged MAF and removed entire induction and so that the air was being sucked directly through the throttle valve so I think that rules the filterbx having an effect because its still the same. Checked smooth operation of valve whilst there.
I have done two throttle resets plus 300 miles to see if that changes anything that was after a throttle clean.(no difference)
I have got access to Autodata so next thing is to multimeter test all of the sensors for voltage and resistance see if that throws anything up. I can also test my leads resistance, injectors and spark plugs (might even just change them) whilst I am at it.
Fuel filter I have been told that my filter is inside my tank, don't know how true or how big a job it would be to change it. (need to look into that). The fuel relief valve you talk about it where is it any simple test I could do on it?
But after these things I think I might visit Autolusso for a saturday surgery lol and then send the bill to the bloke who sold me the car
