156 Headlight replacement

I've been searching for information about how to complete the near impossible i.e replace a dip-beam headlight bulb. I'm hoping the info I've picked up from you guys will prevent me from repeating last weekend painful and fuitless experieince. If I understand it correctly, the wire retaining clip needs to be squeezed togeather first before hinging out away from the lamp holder.

Re: 156 Headlight replacement

hiya mate, welcome on board.

not necessarily together.. you can do each at a time. press it and move it to the outside. quite simple to be honest, but you have to understand how it works. you can find a lot of info and maybe diagrams if you go to the search tab, write 'change bulb' or 'replace bulb' and hit the button. you will find loads of stuff.

Re: 156 Headlight replacement

Thanks guys. As you say quite easy once you know how the clip works. Done the deed and now back road legal.
