McGard Lock Nuts

I had a set of McGard lock nuts from my 156 I kept to put on the GT.

They are stock number 27169. However I checked McGard website today and it says I should have had 27185 on my 156. Only difference between them, is the 27185 are 37mm long and the ones I have (27169) are 30.5mm long.

McGard website also says I should be using 27185 on the GT.

When I bought them a few yrs back I didn't check the web site and it was the shop assistant who informed me to buy the 27169

I put the 27169 set on today and they are fine. They are about 10mm longer than the original bolts, so I'm guessing they are fine.

You think I'm ok to use them?

Re: McGard Lock Nuts

as long as they are longer and not shorter I can't think of a reason why they won't do the job

Re: McGard Lock Nuts

They are fine
the 37mm bolts would be too long.
