How can it be??? (selespeed)
Firstly, sorry for all my posts regarding selespeed issues....
My 147 suffers from skipping 3rd and 4th gear when it's warm.
Yesterday, I was driving it around and it stopped getting 3rd and 4th. When the ignition was just on, it still wouldn't select 3rd and 4th. It'd jump straight to 5th or come up with a neutral.
Over night, nothing has been touched and it selects all the gears fine again today when just the ignition is switched on.
When driving the car, when it's cold, it'll work, once it warms up a little (about 5-10 minutes of driving), it won't.
It calibrates through Alfadiag when it's cold but fails when it's warm.
I can't see it being debris in my gearbox as i removed the end plate and there was nothing there, also, if it was, the bit wouldn't have moved since last night, when it wouldn't get the gears with the ignition on and today where it will with the ignition on.
It seems that once the car misses 3rd and 4th once, it will stay like that pretty much every time you try to select them. There is the odd occasion where the work. Once in 5th, it will go back down the box fine.
The battery voltage is fine and the pump pressure is fine.
Does anyone have any ideas?
