Mechanic not able to fix this alarm issue

Afternoon all,
once again i find my self in a bit of tight spot. Need your advice - by reading my past posts on this site, i'm battling with an alarm problem on my Alfa 156. to cut the long story short, Keyfob will not disengage the alarm, so i opened the door drove the car home with the siren and hazard lights on. locked the car with the key, & that was that, then the next morning i open the car & the alarm goes off at full pelt! I Got to my local garage, asked if he could fix it. He called an alarm specialist but to my dismay no joy! this alarm can not be disarmed, aparently.
now following the advice from one chap on this site i asked the mechanic to disconnect the main battery leave it disconected for a few hours in the hope that this will reset the sodding alarm!
Now if possible chaps does any one else have any advice on the subject since i'm at my wits-end here. I can hear you say take it to a dealer but here lies a bigger issue since i spoke to the so called dealers and frankly for someone to say it could be anything and price wise to give a window of between 300 and 1000 pounds to me that sounds extreme! to say the list hence why i hope that there's someone here that can offer some much needed advice. Please Help!

Re: Mechanic not able to fix this alarm issue

One option might be to get a new key programmed and hope that will turn off the alarm. Still won't be cheap but it won't be whatever they were going to do for £300-£1000.

Re: Mechanic not able to fix this alarm issue

all i can suggest as i have done before go to a sounds and alarming company i know of a very good one in south of london Brian Car Sounds Security get them to strip out the old alarm and fitt a new one their you will have sorted out your key fob fault by a seperate alarm fob which will control all central locking and alarming,
also another benifet is that you car will have better securaty and imoblisation.

try them as i use them all the time and you will prob use about 400-600 depending on which alarm you want and the price to fix/pull out the old one.

i have a clifford concept 650, one of the best on the market.

give them a call and see what happends let me know

hope this has been some help.
