Excited - New 147 - key fob query

Hi again.

After over 500 tiring miles on the road yesterday (250 in the Alfa) I am looking forward to spending the day cleaning my new toy

The interior of the 156 is immaculate for the age. It's a 52 plate with a full leather interior and heated front seats. There isn't one mark on it.

There are a few things I've noticed though, the heated seat switch on the passenger side is not working. I'm sure it's just the switch though as when I press it in it lights up but then doesn't actually "switch" and stay lit. Has anyone else had this problem? Or can anyone suggest how to fix this or where to take it? I live in Nuneaton.

Also. the key remote will only unlock and lock the car when I have the remote literally 20cm from the bottom left hand side of the windscreen and also, the boot release button on the remote doesnt work at all. Could it just be that the battery in the remote is dying and is in need of replacing.

I'm sorry if this isn't the right place to post this as I'm new I have no idea! (Mods, please move to correct place if Im in the wrong)

One last thing, I want to keep this car in as good condition as possible and make it look a bit sportier without looking chavvy! Does anyone know any good styling websites for the Alfas?

Many thanks all and looking forward to speaking to some of you in the future

Re: Excited

Is it a 156 or a 147.. Just to clarify.

Moved to 156/147 lounge.
