Re: 156 Facelift Headlamp Bulb Replacement
my advice would be to practice un-clipping and then re-clipping the bulb before you remove it. That way you'll know what to do. Try to remember exactly how the bulbs are un-clipped and then reverse the process. On the old 156 you have to push the clips in (towrds the front of the car) and then move them out sideways to release the the clip. To re-clip them just pinch one side of the clip towards the middle and push it towards the front whilst moving it out. You'll feel resistance and then, as you move it sideways, it will push forward. At this point you move it back towards the centre and release it - it should then have clipped into place.
When you take the old bulbs out try not to twist them or move them so you can see how they went in. Also, you can rotate the new bulb when you put it in as it should only fit suggly in one position.
Assuming, of course, you can get your hands in!
