My rigid pipe burst!!! (Things were getting a little hot)

Hello all!

2.0 JTS GTV - dumped all of its coolant the other day. Turns out it was the rigid pipe (part No 60676070).

Mr AA put what my girlfriend described as looking like a big poo in the system to seal it (I guess this is some sort of rad weld) to get her home.

Phoned around a load of indies and dealers, and most quoted 4 hrs work. B+W said they had never heard of the problem until two 2.0 JTS's came in with it the other week.

In the end, SGT quoted me an astonishingly good rate to do the work and it is booked in on Thursday (we are supplying the part).

Has anyone else had problems with their rigid pipe?

I am also after the heat exchanger pipe also called the coolant bypass pipe (part No 60676070) for my Alfa GT 2005 2.0 JTS. I am in Melbourne, Australia and the cheapest price I got from dealer about $220 aud which is about $122 pounds in uk dollar, can anyone tell me where I can get them cheap in UK or anywhere in the world and shipp to Australia? I heard they sell for around 24 GB in uk!!
