Well Happy Bazza

Hi, I'm a new boy in the forum, and hope to purchase a new JTDM GT in the next six months.
I have just retired and am looking forward to a proper driving experience.
Can anyone tell me of their experience with the Sat Nav Connect+?
Is it worth the money, and is it user friendly?
My wife is keen to have one, but I am not too bothered.
I live in France and will probably buy a LHD model with 17" wheels.

Re: Bazza

Hi Barry. Welcome to AO There's plent views on here regarding you future motor. Take the time & have a surf around. Regarding Connect NAV+, it's widley regarded as poor & a waste of money.

Cheers for now,

Re: Bazza

Hi Barry. Welcome to AO :Bye:

I bought mine 2nd hand 6 months old and it had the the Sat nav connect +, which is great as it look cool in the dash, you have the voice activated commands, phone, radio, trip computer all on the same screen.
As SR says, it's not worth the extra money on a brand new car, but it's great as a freebie, when buying second hand.

Re: Bazza

SAT NAV is useless, buy a Tom Tom or similar for the odd occasion you might need it

Re: Bazza

Sat Nav is useless. I do like the hands free phone though, and being able to get all the trip information on screen too is nice. It also looks cool when you start it up and you get a big AR badge appear in the centre of the screen

I wouldn't go out of my way to get one fitted, but it would sway my decision on two similar cars.
