156 inlet manifolds?

Hi, I have got hold of imlet manifold for my 1.6 156.

It has come with vac operated variable inlet track actuator thingy on LH side of manifold as you look from front of car, my original does not have this.

It looks like it will fit, what you lot think? Also which postion would I want the actuator to be in?

Thanks guys

Re: 156 inlet manifolds?

Hi. The manifold you have comes from 1,8 or 2,0. It will fit, but will not be switching without additional mods (control unit). You can find much info about this in my thread here:

By default, the manifold is in the 'short' position.
