Hi All,

2 part question here. First of all, is it just me or is the interior lighting on the GT a bit of a joke? In my old 147 I could press the unlock button and the interior light would come on for 30 seconds allowing me to find my way around the car in the dark but my GT doesn't do this. The interior lights only come on when I open and close the doors and only when I remove the key from the ignition, they also only come on for 5 seconds, no longer. They also seem too dim. Is this normal because they are not usefull at all?

Also the boot light is also to dim and is in the far corner so it barely lights anything up?

Has anyone upgraded the interior lights in the GT? I am not interested in LED's as they are too blue/white. I want brighter filament bulbs and maybe even a 2nd light in the boot.

Thanks all.

Pretty sure my lights come one with unlock like the 147 (I had a 147 as well before the GT). I'll check tonight though someone will likely come in with a an answer before then.

On my GT the interior lights do indeed come on when I unlock the doors, unless it's one of the things programmable for different markets in the ECU (like the indicator lights flash timings when you use the remote) yours looks to be faulty.

Interior lights on my current GT function exactly the same as my old 147. Sounds like you have an issue.
