147 Aurbag fault - code 1A

Reposted here as I've not had any luck in the GTA lounge.

(147 GTA)

Any ideas what can cause this?

MultiECUScan suggests its caused by the wiring to the dash light being faulty and or/battery voltage related

My Dad's been trying to resolve it, so far he's tried;

Charging the battery

Different battery (It has a new Varta battery on it normally)

A different ecu - No change, won't clear

A direct feed, bypassing the existing harness to a substitute bulb, no change

Different clock spring (Code 1 not 1A but we thought it was worth a try)

The light still won't clear, but there have been instances where I start it and it clears but will eventually come back again.

Any help would be appreciated.

you may want to check your spelling of airbag. Others might miss this post. I have similar issue with 156, but can't clear codes from airbag ecu. obviously you have checked all the connectors, and cleaned them either by contact cleaner or open/closing them and cable tieing them after? I have also tried checking all fuses even under bonnet and cleaning them, no joy. Just got CODE CARD from alfa dealer today, and hope that clearing immobiliser faults first will somehow help this matter.
Good luck
