Question Selespeed 147 Mechanic Required

Hey Peeps. Newly acquired 2004 2 ltr 147 with low mileage.

Have fallen in love with this car but the selespeed is glitchy and I need a mechanic with selespeed experience to take this on from diagnosis to replacement of parts or whatever else is needed. It might well be electrical though more than mechanical so only trua Alfa males need apply.

Have been let down by two mechanics already who didnt know this system well enough. Said it might be a sensor, actuator or even CPU as problem is temperature related.

I think the problem has gotten worse from being prodded and poked and it is now hardly driveable.

I know I should walk away but Ive decided I want to be an Alfa ... like you guys.

Im in the manchester M23 area.

Is there anybody out there who may be able to help me out? I am not experienced with cars so cannot tinker with it myself so be fore warned that your suggestions on diagnostics would be probably wasted on me.

Thanks in advance

never used this system before lol ... this looks like a race team. They're sure to know their stuff. I'll give them a call thanks. Their website seems to portray them as a race preparation specialists. Have you experience of them working on this more mundane type work?

The worst they can do is say "no" so, give them a call, ask them if they can help, and go from there.
Good luck!
