156 Leather Seat Problem

Hi all,

I've been a registered here for quite a while but seem to have lost my login.
I have purchased some front seats for my 156 and noticed they don't align correctly (seat v back).
Any ideas if this is fixable, or what would cause this? My assumption was that I'd bought some that had been in an accident and twisted....

Both front seats have the same direction mis-alignment, the passenger side worse than the drivers.

Any help appreciated.

I think that they've been bent somehow by the people who removed them from the car... To be honest, I would return them if I could but... Have you tried to use some brute force to bend them back into place?

I haven't tried brute force yet, but will give it a go. I couldn't see anything loose (to suggest something being broken). My guess is also a twist in the frame...

Pop off the plastic side trim and assess the pairs of Torx head fasteners securing each side. They might be skewed with one screw only in that side, and in the wrong hole.

Otherwise, are the bases fitted crooked?
