Re: Turbo replacement price
Every warranty I've ever had is just the same, they've got professionals on the phones paid to make money for the warranty company, they're not interested in getting the job done and getting you back on the road, they're there to pay out the bare minimum they can get away with.
It'll be a few days yet before I'm back on the road, there's a 3-day turnaround on the repair and I'm not entitled to a hire car because the job is on the computer as 1.5 hours. Now to me a repair takes the length of time between dropping the car off and picking it up - not to the warranty company, they're not interested in anyone being without a car for a week, their job is weasel their way out of paying for whatever they can. I could have been back on the road by now if I had a spare £900 burning a hole in my back pocket but because I have to go through the warranty, it's left me without a car and p*ssed the garage guys off no-end, they stand to make £45 from the whole job, can't praise the garage enough for putting up with me - this is the final straw and they're not touching another warranty claim after this.
So to name and shame: Mobility Protection Ltd's Gold 5-star comprehensive warranty isn't worth the paper it's written on.
