knocking at max lock

Hi

I have an odd ticking / knocking sound at max lock. (only when turning right, and going forwards)
Does anyone know what it could be ?
I tried to jack the car up, and move the wheel by hand, but could not find anything that would interfere with the wheel...

I might try to jack the car up, and then jack the wheel up as well (axle stand under car, and jack under lower wishbone) but anyone know what could be the problem, and what to look for ?

I have the same. Changed ARB bushes (+ new wishbones) but it's still there.

If you find the cause please let us know. Good Luck.

Worn outer CV joints commonly knock on full lock.

Not good news

I will check the droplinks (swap them left / right see if that makes a difference), but as the noise is linked to car speed, I fear the worst...

As said outer CV joint. The boot is likely to be split and let in grit.

No need to change the drop links, just disconnect them. They tend to knock on bumpy roads though.
Alfas have a habit of popping off the boot and if you don't spot it soon enough then it's goodby joint.
