Motor control system failure

Hi All, having just having had a turbo pipe and a few other bits repaired I decided to drive my 147 to Spain. Today crossing France I decide to stretch her legs and put my put my foot down. I got a beep and a 'motor control system failure' warning. Which now comes on when I start the car.
She lost a bit of power but I was able to carry on to Spain.

Reading here it sounds like it could be the crank shaft sensor. I've also been getting a course hissing sound air escaping when the turbo kicks in since the repair.

My main question is, can I still drive her for a few more days and a thousand miles or so till I get to Italy where I can find a mechanic who really know alfas?

Sounds to me like a turbo leak. Vacuum pipes, turbo intercooler, the other turbo pipe? Just throwing guesses here.

I think turbo hose too. Find where the hiss is coming from, check for loose clamps, or splits. Especially the lower hose, where it tends to rub against the crankcase until there's a hole. A few layers of Gaffer tape will fix that for a while. Unlikely to be crank sensor if it's still running when hot.
