For some (colder) markets there are additional electric heater matrix in ventilation box to heat car interior faster in winter. My car does not have it, but I'm interested if it is possible to embed it to current ventilation box. As I can see, on my ventilation box, place where this heater should be located is sealed with plastic, but it is clearly visible boundaries where hole fore heater should be. There are also holes for screws sideways.
So, is it possible to open a hole in ventilation box (where heater is located on boxes which are originally equipped with) and put inside heater from version with heater?
My thinking is that is possible, but as I never opened ventilation box, I don't know if both boxes (with and without electrical heater) are internally same. I'm afraid that maybe in ventilation box without original heater are some components in place where heater came in versions with it...so than would be impossible to insert heater in my ventilation box.
Also, I know that my car does not have electrical installation for it, but this is not a problem, I will make my own installation.
