: ) it has been only, and just, the battery at fault. It had a new battery, at three years old, a couple of weeks before we bought it. Anyway, it gave flashing messages up on the screen, and was a bit reluctant to go into gear, sometimes. So, looked at the battery, after removing it,(it was a perfect fit in the carrier) a top of the range, but was only a 50 amp rating, when it should of been 60amp.(nee'r mind the cold cranking for the mo'
Went to Dear Ole' Hals, looked it up on their flip-charts, got the appropriate 60amp, for a 147 Sele', 4yr. Gt'd, sorted. The removed battery was fine for the little runabout, and both work fine, in their new homes.
That was 11/1/05, so it looks like we will be up for a new one, maybe, in a year or so? Get the amps right, (ccv if you want
