Wheels advice

Hello. I got a 147 ,5 dr , pre-facelift. It's in Azzurro Gabbiano colour. Currently my wheels are black, but I've been considering stripping the paint and back to normal aluminium color. Your thoughts? , picture in attachments . Just doesn't feel right with this color and black rims.

Nice car! Type azzurro gabbiano into google images and you will see, as you probably suspected, most cars have silver alloys. But some people like the jet black rims... funny thing is taste.

Thanks for the compliments! I really loved the way the car looked when I bought it, but for some reason I've had a change of heart and want silver alloys

Here are some more photos of the car in it's current state. It's got a blacked out front grills too. Previous owner thought it's better that way. I'm either keeping it like that or returning it to normal a.k.a. shiny chrome grills & alloy wheels. I like my current wheels, i'm just not sure about their colour.

How about leave the polished rims and then paint the centres in body colour, like Porsche sometimes do

However its all personal taste

Just noticed that this one looks like Joey Mannero's old 147 without the roof rack?

I like them, save the money and put it towards performance mods.

Not a fan of silver rims on a silver car so I say you keep them how they are!

That, or a front bumper repaint. It has some visible imperfections . Have decided to keep them like that as of right now, unfortunately I was stuck in traffic in a near flood water levels todays, so I'm not sure if I haven't broken something by the water. It was around my blinkers in height , front blinkers Car worked fine and got my home fine, I'm still worried about the turbo solenoid valve.

I actually love how the wheels look. They fit the car pretty sweet. Therefore I too would suggest keeping the $$ for some performance mods and/or repairs.

Only reason why I considered the multispoke 17" Alfa wheel is because the current looks of the car are a bit racer-ish. I've grown out of it and into a more stylish look. Some new repairs today ,thanks to raining cat and dogs yesterday. Definitely any visual mods are on hold now.

looks great, keep it black and wont show the brake dust so much. Also, maybe do something with the brake calipers if you want to change it up a bit? Otherwise, she's a beaut!

Off to find some wheels hub caps for Alfa romeo. I feel Aliexpress might do the trick.
Tomorrow, I'll finally get ahold of my car with a working thermostat, front suspension ,egr, map cleaned, nearly everything sorted out. I have to say, I'm quite excited. My EGR hasn't been cleaned , ever. With a straight pipe, catless exhaust , I might be in for a treat and a decently fast Alfa on my hands.
As for wasting money on things I don't need, I have been considering a leather interior, should cost me around 150EUR. I don't really like the feel of leather, either sliding around or sticking thanks to excessive heat, but damn it it looks great.

Yes... keep the black wheels. They contrast so nicely with the silver car.
