156 No display

Hello everyone. I am a new member and own a 156 1.6 on a 02 plate. The car was stood 10 days over the new year and started fine and drives perfect. The fault is I have no display on the computer in the top centre of the dash (ie date, mpg etc). It appears to be totally dead. The display worked perfectly before the new year. Any ideas?
Many thanks

Possible that the cable has been disconnected under the passenger seat? Not sure, bit of a funny one. Did it used to fade in sunlight?

Re: 156 No display

drive it a few days and as if by magic it should start working again, once the heat dries out the connections. it may help to have full heat on the interior ventilation.
