Exclamation Alfa GT JTS Piston and oil rings

Hello everybody
I have a Alfa gt JTS
Yestaday i disassembled engine and found
On pistons no oil drains to drain the oil inside. There is only a side drains
Then ordered scraper rings inlaid type (NE EUROPE)

Question. Do I Drilling holes on whether the piston for better heat oil or not ? like this pistons 5 PHoto

If you drill them won't you risk upsetting the balance/ weight of the piston?

You'll weaken them ... if they don't have holes, they weren't designed for holes.

The pistons in the bottom pic looked forged .. much stronger that the standard parts (and much more expensive!).

You've really got to know what you are doing before you start drilling holes in your pistons! Judging by the colour of the piston in your photo you've got some serious blow by going on, i think you need slightly more than new rings to cure it.
