Hi just after some advice if that's OK? My Alfa recently failed it's MOT and was just wondering if you guys knew how much roughly all these things would cost for repair? Thank you so much

The only moderately expensive ones in the list are the suspension bits: upper arms - about 50 in parts each and 200 or so to change them both. (I'm guessing on the labour charge, I do it myself)

I can't read what the corroded suspension components are - rear shocks? If yes, 60 each and another 200 to change

Headlights - easy

Airbag warning light - read the guides on here for what to check.

Note that it needs new tyres and discs according to the advisories - another few hundred in there.

Could be high labour charges on the rear shocks as it doesn't come apart easily.

The corroded brake disk advisory is almost a standard addition these days.
I'm inclined to think that you could find another car with 12 months test for much less than it'll cost to fix that lot.

Surely 008 and 009 refer to the sills being corroded not the shock absorbers. It refers to outer sill so probably trailing rod attachment points. So much for the galvanising on these cars, Italian galvanising is clearly something different to the normal meaning. This is the clearly the biggest issue here depending on the extent of the rusting, unless the MOT tester is being a bit overzealous and it just needs treating and resealing rather than welding.

I believe that floorpan on the 147 wasn't galvanised?
