I purchased my first Alfa last Thursday and just can't stop driving it!!
I have noticed however that the passenger air bag warning light flashes for 4 seconds after turning on the ignition. The handbook states;
"The passenger air bag warning light also shows a failure of the drivers air bag warning light. This condition is signalled by the flashing of the passenger air bag warning light over the normal 4 seconds. In this case the drivers air bag warning light may fail to signal possible faults in the restraining systems. Before going on contact Alfa Romeo authorised services to have the system checked."
I have read in another post that if it goes out after flashing then everything is OK, but the handbook doesn't mention that.
The car has a few months warranty so I can get it booked in to get looked at if required
I have a garmin gps system which I used over the weekend and the speed on my speedo differs to that of the GPS. I had wondered when I first collected the car why I was being overtaken on the motorway so much.
Speedo | GPS
The Alfa garage asked if it had the original alloys, I'm certain they are the standard lusso 15" alloys. I'm not to worried about the speedo being out now that I know as long as there isn't any underlying problem. Does anybody else's speedo give incorrect speeds?
