156 alarm

Hello all. Finally got myself back on here again (previous Karl702123). Anyway, I have a 156 V6 with no alarm. I also have a 156 T-Spark for parts which does have a working alarm. Is it just a case of plugging the alarm unit in or is there some other ecu witchcraft that needs to happen. I have also noticed the donor car alarm has 17 wires whereas my V6 has 19 wires. I am hoping this is just some extra sensor somewhere and the alarm can be fitted ok? Or would I be better off getting an after market alarm fitted? Any help is greatly appreciated.

If you have the 2 connectors in your left front wing than yes you can fit the alarm. You will need to get the remote from your keys and also the remote reciever from the car that had the alarm otherwise it wont work....
Also note that there are motion detector sensors in the alarm car. They are mounted on the B-pillar above the seatbelt. But you wont have to use these, the alarm will work without.....
