Wave Removing Wing Indicator

Hi All

Before the respray i am removing the wing indicators and sealing the hole , My question is.. am i going to get a bulb out error from removing it and if so whats the best way round it ? maybe a resistor ?

do you mean sealing the hole for just the respray or for good? cause if your doing away with the wing indicator you may fall foul at the mot:

"Vehicles first used on or after 1 April 1986 must be fitted with one side repeater indicator on each side. Instead of a separate lamp, the side repeater might be part of the front direction indicator if it includes a wraparound lens."

Was going to remove but didnt even give the mot a thought so good call .

I will have to re-think

Perhaps you should consider driving a BMW if you think indicators aren't important.

You mean a push bike really

But reason for wanting to remove them is i have some Maserati wing vents and wanted to use to get more air circulating in the engine bay as it does get hot with all the stuff in it

And indicator + vents look odd . so its either not use them or maybe smoke the lens so it blends into the black body or maybe use a smaller round lens and place it inside one of the vents and just use 2 of the 3 vents each side

Good idea but not sure what will be best , But im sure i will get something sorted .
