alfa romeo 156 selespeed cap

hello. just want to ask if anyone knows where to put back the tube from the selespeed cap.
i accidentally disconnect it from somewhere as i was tightening the selespeed cap.
from the cap there is a tube that i dont know where to connect. i hope anyone can help me find it. maybe send a picture so i would know where excactly. thanks.

The tube is not connected to anything. The cover around the selespeed fluid reservoir has a small hole where the tube pokes through. If the cover is missing then just leave it.

The function of the tube is to direct any overflowing oil from the reservoir down to the wheel arch liner and down to the ground.

Do not worry about the tube. The worst that can happen is an oily reservoir if indeed the oil overflows. But if the oil has been correctly filled and the system working well it should not overflow at all.

Yep, it is just a breather tube.
The other end exits near the front of the left front wheel.

This can lead to panic when you see a tiny puddle of oil under the car.
Many of us put that tube into a small vented bottle to collect any excess.
