GT back to its original colour ...sort of

Just a chance to show a few pics from a busy day yesterday. I keep changing the colour of my GT with plastidip and more recently, liquid wrap, which gives a smoother finish.

The bits that have been sprayed are the wheels, the whole front bumper and grille, the boot and rear bumper. I left the wingmirrors on the old colour, which was a dark grey. The new colour is a matt silver and it matches the GT silver really well, which was not deliberate.

I peeled the old wrap off and it has left the paintwork perfect underneath. I used 7 aerosol cans in total, at a cost of about 70. I have a little trigger applicator that attaches to the top of the aerosol.
The car has been black, 2 shades of grey and now matt silver.

I like doing it because its fun lol

Looks good, was this just done in your garage?
I'm guessing you can wash it just like normal paint?

Thanks. It was done on the drive. Just got to pick a good day with the weather.

Yeh just wash it with a sponge.
