Alfa romeo GT tyre size help

I have just bought a new set of alloys wheel 7.5 x 18'' with a et 30 offset. The wheels came with tyres but they are 235/45/18

Would these fit, even on temp basis until I have the funds to buy new tyres.

The car runs on stock suspension with gta roll bars front and rear

Any help greatly appreciated

Ta

Would normally be 225/40R18, but they may fit with the 235/40R18.
If you have them, try them on, but check clearance to suspension uprights and springpans.

Aside from being 10mm wider, the 235/40s are about 8mm taller in overall diameter. As DavidC says, try them (especially if they're are already fitted).
I'd suggest a 235 on a 7.5" rim would be a maximum, rather than an ideal
