Lowered Alfa GT.

So I nipped down to get my car tracked up after fitting Koni FSD's Eibachs, Powerflex ARB's and a few other bushes. I had been driving the car whilst doing the work so expected tyre wear....now before I go buying a new set of tyres.

My camber is -2.56 (as its lowered). Toe is set to 0. (well 0.03, but the garage did say that is as good as 0.00?). It drive spot on with plenty of feedback and the Alfa feeling still remains.

However, the -2.56 does concern me as I have experienced inner edge issues before.

So anyone with a lowered GT what is your camber readout and are you getting inner wear?

Garage
Both left and right? same -2.56 deg? It is a big number, and not easy to fix

The combination of big camber figure, with toe out kills tires. As long as your toe is zero, it should be OK enough

-0.03 presumably? As the setting is toe-in, and on the front the factory setting is toe out which is usually written as a negative toe in figure. Factory setting is 8 minutes toe out, I normally go half-way on lowered cars, 4 minutes toe out. 0 toe (parallel) makes them steer & turn terribly.

The actual figures are:

Front -2(deg).51' other side -1.52.....I did ask for the sub frame to be adjusted to make it more central. giving me -2.00 on each side at a guess).

The forks have been modified so the damper sites 15mm lower into the fork, I can adjust this by adding a spacer to make the car sit higher. I found when my car was at -1.35 there was no wear what-so-ever on the inner edge.

I have had mine parallel before, I find it still really engaging to drive.

Brill look forward to it.

Damian, if your still about any chance I could have your readouts. I am sure your GT is just as low as mine.......problem is, it just looks awesome now.
