Remote Central Locking
Happy New Year.
I haven't posted as much as I would like - that's my bad. I am however now experiencing a bit of bother so I thought I would share. It helps to take about things!
When I bought my 147 in November, Evans Halshaw informed me that the remote central locking didn;t work but it was no bother they would fix it next week if I brought it back in. After three days of driving a Chevrolet Kalos as a courtesy car (Oh...my....God
), they said that they needed a part and that they would call me when it came in. A fortnight later I phoned them to enquire after the part and they said they had had it on for a week and I could bring my car in anytime. Right. So I took it in middle of December, they had it a day and said that they had to give in because they couldn't figure it out and needed to call Alfa experts who were on holiday and could I bring it back in on the 8th January?
It is in the garage as I type. The mind boggles as to what can go wrong this time.
In the mean time I have to put my shopping down on the ground, manually unlock the door, lean in to press the button to open the boot, pick up my shopping again.....
