Is it 2200rpm in every gear? Or does it get going lower down the rev band under load?
I have had MAF's cause similar loss of power below 2200/2500rpm, so it may be worth a look.
Its also well worth checking all the hoses for small splits, with the one from the turbo to the IC it will probably mean removing it, cleaning it and stretching/pulling it about to check for splits.
- A small split may not be visable, and may not cause any smoke, but due to loss of pressure may also cause a slower build up of boost to the engine.
Which model is it, the 136bhp (up to 2001) or the 140/150 from 01/Y onwards?
