B6 can be used with up to 30mm lowering, B8 are suitable for -30mm and more. Bilstein says this in ist FAQ on its website. Unfortunately they have newly designed web and FAQ is only on german language for now.

point 22 clearly says B6 can be used with -30 mm as max lowering.
I did a large search before buying my B8 dampers and it seems that for -30 mm you can use both, B6 and B8. It is minimum lowering for short-pistonend B8 to work as designed and usable maximum for B6.
@Throttleman - On your place I would go for B6 with OEM springs and you will still have an option for some small lowering in the future if you decide so.
