Charging battery in situ

I'm suffering from the "blown bulb warning battery drain" issue, and frequently need to charge up my battery. Can I charge it up using the normal battery charge setting while the battery is still connected in the car? I can't really see why not, but thought I'd check in case I blow something.

Cheers,
Graham

My cars are on Ctek chargers and I always leave the battery connected to the car.

I would not be so optimistic.
It is OK to charge this way than you sure car is switched off completely with key off.
If battery is OK and still draining means car is not switched off.
Negative pole is nice to be off until drain leakage would be identified.

"blow bulb warning battery drain" issue is an easy fix - replacement rev counter is all that is needed. You can even temporarily fix it by disconnecting the rev counter (3 cross head screws and one electrical plug).
