156JTD Fuel Problem?

My first visit to the site. I have a 156JTD Lusso done 47k and recently been giving problems starting when warm/hot. Thought I had dirty fuel so had filter changed. Seemed to work but today cut out when going slowly up hill in traffic and refused to start for about 30mins. Once re-started no problems. Anyone had similar experience?

Re: 156JTD Fuel Problem?

Could be crank sensor.. Very cheap and easy part to change, but a bugger to diagnose as a lot of the time it doesn't throw up a fault code for the examiner to read. Usual symptoms is that it starts fine cold, cuts out once its got so hot, won't restart until it has cooled a bit.

Anyone else have any other ideas?
