Alarm Fault

My 156 Alarm hasn't armed since I have had it, I found the fuses from looking at an old post on here but they are all ok. What should I check next?

Re: Alarm Fault

Is the alarm actually connected? I had the reverse problem. My battery died and when I reconnected it the alarm armed and I couldn't shut it off (knackered key).

I had to remove the passenger side front plastic arch liner so I could get to the alarm so I could unplug it.

Re: Alarm Fault

Mine just started going off one morning when I unlocked the car. It contains its own batteries, so even disconnecting the car battery wouldn't shut it up. I unplugged mine too. The central locking still works without it. Have a look under the near side wheel arch to see if yours is connected. You have to loosen and bend part of the plastic wheel arch to get in, so it may be better to wait until the weather's a bit warmer so the plastic doesn't crack.
