Cheers for all your help then guys!
My plan is looking alot like this at the moment:
1) Buy Alfa Romeo 156 V6 SP3
2) Get decent Toyo's fitted all round
3) Fit GTA intake pipe
4) Upgrade front brake pads
5) Fit AD Induction Kit
6) Fit full stainless exhaust system
7) Get an ECU Remap
8) Possible Suspension upgrade further down the line
With the exhaust, AD filter and Remap I'm hoping to be touching around the 215BHP marker, or at least that's what Autodelta is telling me I should expect to achieve.
Do you reckon I'll be okay with just replacing the front brake pads? Or would I be better off replacing both pads and discs? I have heard that the rear stock pads and discs are fine.
I do a fair old bit of racing late at night on a Friday and Saturday and don't want to have another Galant situation where I crack the discs by overcooking them. The idiot I am.
To my credit though, I've NEVER done that with ANY other car, including my Mondeo Mk1 which I used to HAMMER the brakes on all the time. Never have brake discs gone and cracked on me until the Galant.
Regarding the front pads, what's my best bet? Ferodo? Or something else?
Also, is the SP3 suspension decent enough for what I'll be using the car for, which is commuting to work and back 5 days a week then giving it the old heave ho at the weekends?
And about the remap, AD do one for the V6 costing £364 which apparently adds 13BHP, are there any alternatives out there for Remapping?
Cheers for all your help once again fella's, I look forward to your replies!
