V6 Exhaust Piping

I was wondering why the 156 V6 has two rear silencers

With silen.jpg

And the back box

How different would the sound be if it were like the image below "without Silencer"

Without silen.jpg

Would like it to be a little louder without being chav as i still have the standard exhaust

Would it be better to save my pennies and get a proper stainless steel back box? What would you suggest I go for as I have only heard the custom type exhaust on four pots. I would like it loud and aggressive and raspy after 4000rpm and quiet but a little more bass below 3500

The propeller at the front of an aeroplane is only there as a fan to keep the pilot cool. When it stops watch him sweat

would sound like this without silencer, although this is a powerflow system.

Re: V6 Exhaust Piping

I`ve had both types of pipe.
The straight-through has a distinct loudness at about 2.5-3K revs. The silenced version dampens this and I prefer it.
