Misfire at low revs?

Hi all, my 1.8 156 has started to what i can best describe is misfire at low RPM, When cruising at 30mph in 4th gear at about 1800-2000rpm the car doesnt run correctly and feels unsettled. She also is a bit stutery if that makes sense?.

This problem started about 6 weeks ago, so i booked her in at garage for a full service which they did, but still got this problem. My thought was that the spark plugs are not working correctly as they were not changed at service mearly "cleaned up". The car has done 96k has had oil and filter changed every 5k, and full service every 10-12k miles. The spark plugs havent been changed for 46k now, Do u rekon these could be at the roote of my problems?

Re: Misfire at low revs?

couple of simple check
a favorite is for the spark plug wells to fill with water or oil which can give similar symptoms.
also check the plug leads condition, they seem to wear quite easily due to were they clip into the retaining brackets, mine looked like bonfire night when it was dark.
also check the coil pack connectors that sit directly on top of the plugs as these can break very easily.
plugs should go for at least 60k before changing, but its always a posibility
