156 variator change guide

Hello!!! got the dreaded variator change at weekend, before i go taking the car apart is there an online guide anywhere? with the description of tools needed? i saw one on here recently but cant find it.

Has anyone ever done this them selvs is it an easy job?........dont laugh

Fairly straightforward, just takes time and use the proper tools:- cam locks, adjusters, variator tool, TDC dial gauge (optional but I found it much easier with one), Ribe bits. 15 mm socket.
