New member needing help - 147 key fob

My 147 key fob is sending a signal (red led lights up) but the auto central locking has stopped working.

Looked through my manual and the code must be working because the car fires up etc OK. Problem is I cannot set my alarm. Car seems to not recognise the signal.

It has been garaged in a repair shop for a couple of weeks.

I have changed the battery checked contacts and still nothing. Even tried bumping, banging fob and using my head (as transmitter - I was desperate!) as suggested on another link.

Any suggestions?

Sorry, can't help, I think you might need to take it back to the garage
